Parkdale – A well-established inner-city neighbourhood on the north bank of the Bow River, known for river views, easy access to downtown and the Bow River Pathway, mixed housing (bungalows, townhomes, infills), and active community programming through the Parkdale Community Association.
Hillhurst – One of Calgary’s older residential communities just north of the Bow River and adjacent to Kensington Village (shops, dining, transit). It’s walkable, close to schools, parks (like Riley Park), and recreational paths along the river.
Sunnyside – Directly east of Hillhurst and immediately north of downtown, Sunnyside mixes single-family homes with mid-rise housing, corner stores and cafés. It’s well connected by transit (Sunnyside C-Train) and pathways, and forms part of the lively Kensington district together with Hillhurst.
