Good Morning All – I hope you had an amazing weekend! As always, I like to start the week off right with some words of motivation or inspiration:
“What if, for one week, your default answer became YES?”
Most of us usually say no more often than we realize — sometimes out loud, sometimes quietly — but often automatically.
No, I don’t have time.
No, I probably couldn’t do that.
No, it might be awkward.
No, I’m not ready.
No, that probably won’t work.
No, I dont want too.
Sometimes no is the right answer — we all need healthy boundaries, and nobody benefits from agreeing to every demand placed on them. This is not about becoming a people-pleaser, taking foolish risks or saying yes to things that clearly do not serve us.
It is about noticing how often fear, habit and convenience make our decisions before we even stop to think.
What if, for one week, your default answer became yes to the things that could make life better?
Yes to the invitation you would normally decline.
Yes to trying something before you feel ready.
Yes to trying something new.
Yes to asking the question.
Yes to accepting help instead of managing everything alone.
Yes, I’ll learn more.
Yes, I’ll have the conversation.
Yes, I’ll see what my options are.
A single yes can introduce us to someone, expose us to a new idea or create an opportunity we could never have planned for.
Many of the most important decisions in our lives begin with a small yes rather than some dramatic leap.
For one week, try pausing before the automatic no. Let’s ask ourselves whether the answer is protecting something important—or simply protecting us from being uncomfortable, uncertain or surprised.
Have a great week!
Sincerely,
Your Realtor Denis Hrstic
