CALGARY — Confidence among Alberta’s small business owners remained stable in August but dipped nationally, according to the Canadian Federation of Independent Business.

In its latest monthly Business Barometer index, the CFIB said Alberta’s small business owners are now “easily” the most optimistic in Canada with confidence levels exceeding the national average by a “significant” margin.
